A US Led Coalition may have Bombed a School Sheltering Refugees in Syria
The Syrian Arab News Agency reports that the U.S. led coalition bombed a school in Syria killing 19 civilians and injuring many others.
The U.S. Military stated that 19 air strikes were executed on behalf of a U.S. led coalition near the city of Raqqa on 3/21/17.
According to the U.K. based Syrian Observatory for Human rights, at least 33 people were killed by the bomb.
It is claimed that at least one bomb hit a school that was sheltering refugees who had fled fighting in Palymra.
The bombing occurred near the al-Kastrat area.
U.S. military officials have not confirmed that the attack killed civilians; they have started an investigation to determine what happened.
